CAREGIVER OF THE MONTH

I knew from the first time I met Jennifer Heintzelman that she would be a future Caregiver of the Month for us! She had the requisite skill sets, and she interviewed so well, but then there’s that
gut feeling you get when you meet someone who naturally exudes the energy of a giving heart. That was apparent to all of us in the office when Jennifer went through the interview process.
We placed Jen with a few clients early on and they all loved her. No surprise there. Then we engaged with a new family that needed 24/7 care and we knew right away that Jennifer would be a great fit for them, so we put her there 40 hours per week. That was back in April of this year.
The new family does not just love Jennifer. As April would say, “they love LOVE her”!!
The client recently had a photographer come in to do family portraits and amongst the photos they took was this one with Jen. When we witness a family that wants to document the course of their lives, and include our caregiver in that documentation, it says an awful lot about that caregiver. It confirms our collective admiration in our office about who Jen is and what she is capable of. She does have the heart; she is selfless, professional and a joy to be around. I think her cheeks must get sore by the end of the day because she is always smiling!
