The truth is that home care services, especially that which you can get through an agency, can generally accommodate just about any need and any time frame.
Maybe your father only needs help a couple of days a week. Maybe he doesn’t bathe every single day. You could hire a caregiver to be there for him only for the time that he actually needs help.
You may also be willing to continue assisting him with other issues that he has, as long as there is someone else to help him bathe and take care of some other personal issues.
Home care services is the best way to ensure that your loved one is safe and has the right level of care that he or she needs within the comfort of home. There’s no reason either of you should be uncomfortable with any aspect of their care.
